The Harrisburg Bicycle Club is proud to offer The League of American Bicyclists Smart Cycling Course; an ongoing program that aims to increase rider understanding of essential cycling skills, including repairing, handling, and riding legally in traffic.
Teaching bicycling skills and building confidence of riders both new and experienced has a core activity of the League of American Bicyclists since the 1970’s.
Smart Cycling provides a 4-part training seminar offered by League Certified Instructors. All HBC members are invited to attend. This fast-paced program includes a 2-hour classroom session followed by a 2-hour series of on bike safety drills and a check ride.

Where Are the classes held?
All sessions are conducted at Linglestown Life Rockville Campus,
4386 N. 6th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110 for classroom sessions.
The on-bike parts are in the parking lot across the street.
