Separate We Start, Together We Tour

In 2020, the Greenbelt became our refuge as being outdoors allowed many of us to briefly escape from the harsh reality of COVID-19. While we continue to navigate the pandemic in 2021, we encourage you to give back to the Greenbelt. Learn more and  register for this year’s event below.

Ways to Participate

Three options to participate in the 2021 Tour de Belt. 

Independently Bike, Walk or Run the Greenbelt

Bike, walk or run the Greenbelt at your own pace and distance from May 29 to June 5. This year we added an option to include your dog in your independent activity. We'll include a bandana for them.

Small Group Guided Activities

Join a small group walk or small group bike ride May 29 to June 5

Ride in the Group Ride

Ride in our socially distanced group ride on Sunday, June 6th. We'll have multiple start times and start locations. This event will be held, rain or shine.

Why Participate?

  • Support the maintenance and improvement of the 22-mi loop around Harrisburg and surrounding municipalities.
  • Get to know the Greenbelt with a guide.
  • Exercise is great for your mind, body and soul.

 COVID-19 Pandemic Protocols
  1. All participants must adhere to the social distancing protocols in place for Dauphin County. The latest pandemic protocols can be found below.
  2. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or believe you’ve been exposed to COVID-19, please do not participate in any event.
  3. Be mindful of your bodily fluids. If you need to sneeze, spit, or anything else, move yourself away from the group. 
  4. Face masks should be worn at ALL parking lots and rest stops and are suggested when riding and walking.
  5. There will be NO on-site registration this year.
  6. These protocols are subject to change.
