Industrial Road Clean Up

An army of volunteers showed up to help clean up Wildwood Park and Industrial Road today. The Harrisburg Bicycle Club was well represented, I’m pleased to say. We collected tons of trash…literally! I’m glad to help with this big project but get frustrated because it’s a job we shouldn’t have to do. I don’t understand why some people think it’s ok to throw stuff out on the roadside instead of placing it in trash receptacles. We found lots of fast-food containers, bottles, clothing, cardboard, plastic bags, cigarette butts, and even some tires and pallets.
